Alex Babalis
Alex brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience, much of it spent right here in the Portsmouth area. A graduate of Great Bay Community College with a background in Hotel & Restaurant Management and Meetings & Events Planning, he is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and building strong relationships with both guests and team members.
Alex is excited to bring his local knowledge, energy, and hospitality expertise to Rooftop at The Envio and AC Hotel Portsmouth.
Food & Beverage Outlets Manager
Leading the culinary team is Executive Sous Chef Laura Horan, who brings more than two decades of experience from luxury hotels and resorts across the country. Chef Laura is passionate about creating seasonal menus inspired by locally sourced ingredients and New England flavors, balancing approachable favorites with elevated culinary techniques.
Her career includes leadership roles at Cliff House Maine, Suncadia Resort, and Sunriver Resort, where she oversaw multi-outlet restaurants, banquet operations, and culinary teams. At Rooftop at The Envio, she's focused on crafting memorable dining experiences through creativity, quality, and thoughtful hospitality.
Executive Sous ChefChef Laura Horan
Chef Logan Dorr began his culinary journey in 2006 and studied at The Art Institute of Atlanta before relocating to New England in 2015 to further develop his craft in upscale kitchens. Throughout his career, he has showcased his talents at renowned destinations including Wentworth by the Sea Hotel, SouthPort Bar & Grill, Waterview Grill, and as Executive Chef at a private country club.
Drawing inspiration from his Southern roots, Chef Logan brings creativity, refined technique, and genuine Southern hospitality to every dish. He looks forward to introducing fresh ideas and memorable flavors to the Rooftop at The Envio experience.
